Find my best beauty tips.  Here’s some even better beauty tips that are so much more than the right brand of hairspray or the perfect outfit.

These hair tips aren’t the best beauty tips from a professional hair stylist. You don’t need the most expensive looking curling wand. And you most certainly don’t have to make super-tight curls in hopes that it will look how you want it to by the time you have to go out. No, this post is about the simple, every day yet amazing looking curls. Plus some of the best beauty tips you’ll find anywhere.

My hair has got to be the most stubbornly-straight hair you will ever see. For years I curled my hair, only to have it flat again in less than 30 minutes. I’m sure there are lots of you out there who struggle with this…! But guess what?! I found the type of curling wand that I absolutely LOVE. It gives my hair a messy/wavy type of look, and it stays in for quite some time(up to a day and a half, if it’s not too humid!). So of course, I just had to share this with you guys. Curling your hair with a wand can seem tricky at first, but hey, I learned how to do it! Which means pretty much anyone can learn how to do it;)

When it’s super humid outside, your hair goes flat pretty easily. That can’t be avoided completely…although I wish it could! Here’s a secret though: If you want your hair to look good still but it’s hot and not only is your hair annoying, but it’s going really flat as well, pull it up in a bun! I am SO bad at putting my hair up in messy buns, but when your hair has extra volume it goes up so much easier and looks gorgeous, too!

So yeah, if I’m going somewhere nice this is pretty much my go-to hair style. It only takes about 20 minutes to do, and honestly I don’t think I could live without it. I’m not too fond of the curling process for some reason (not because it’s hard, just because I’m impatient;) but after awhile I realized it really doesn’t take that long- only twenty to thirty minutes. Of course, if you take more time on it it’ll look nicer. Usually if I’m curling my hair, though, I just want some extra volume and could care less if every curl looks the same.

I wanna talk about the best beauty tips for a second while we’re here. I know that all girls struggle with their looks, whether their hair is straight as a stick (me!!!) or curly beyond control. But here’s some even better beauty tips that are so much more than the right brand of hairspray or the perfect outfit.

  • If you’re smiling from the inside and out, people won’t notice that your hair is a wreck. I’m serious! Smiling is not only the best accessory, but also it brings out your natural beauty!
  • Be confident. This one is a struggle for me, but I know that it’s a struggle for almost all girls. You want to wear sport shorts and a t-shirt out in public, even if all your friends are wearing nicer clothes? Do it! If you’re confident in what you’re wearing, or whatever, then you’ll look awesome.
  • Part of being confident is not caring what people think. I tend to think of myself way too much, and that goes for my looks, too. Instead of worrying if people are judging you, reach out to others! Focusing on others and not yourself not only gets you away from worrying about how you look, but it also shows others you care.

I want to encourage in something.  Whenever you don’t feel beautiful, realize that God made you and he said you were good! And when he says that, he means all of you. Your eyes, your ears, your nose…but most importantly your heart. He sees Jesus, the one who lived a perfect life, when he looks at you. Even when you know you’re not perfect, God knows you have been cleansed.

Those are the best beauty tips you’ll ever need.

What’s the link for the curling iron? I love it! I can’t quite master the regular curling iron, and I love having wavy/messy curls. And you’re so right. Confidence (something I struggle with too!) is so essential, and when you wear it, you look like you know Who made you.

    Thanks for this post!

Dependence.

There’s a constant battle on where we place our dependence. Where will we choose to place our trust in the simplest and in the hardest of times? I depend too much for someone who is a natural leader. As an extrovert, I love taking charge, talking, and being the best I can be for everyone […]
